Job Title: AGO Officer

Location: Obajana, Kogi

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a detailed and analytical AGO Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for AGO issuance to mobile equipment as signed by authorized officers, keeping records and raising observations where necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of AGO dispensing equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
  • Document AGO transactions accurately, maintaining detailed records of refuelling activities.
  • Address any issues that may arise during refuelling, including discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards.
  • Monitor AGO usage, analyze data, and prepare reports for management review
  • Ensure accuracy in the quality, quantity, and specification of the AGO received.
  • Dispense AGO as approved on the fuel voucher
  • Ensure accuracy in the dispensing of AGO
  • Carry out a stock count monthly, sign and generate a report
  • Maintain good housekeeping of the fueling station
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and operational standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
  • 2 - 3 years of work experience in fuel issuance operations or logistics
  • Experience in a shift-based work environment is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with record-keeping and inventory management.
