Tryve Associates - Our client is an FCT’s Private Health Establishments Registration and Monitoring Committee (PHERMC) licensed clinic (out-patient) and diagnostics facility, based in Garki District in Abuja-FCT, which also provides wide range of laboratory investigations and blood banking services.

As part of the implementation of its expansion program, through additional physical locations, investigation equipment, and extending its product offerings, the business marketing team requires additional competent and experienced personnel to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Marketing Officer (BMO)

Locations: Jahi District; Area 10, Garki District; and Kubwa, Bwari Area Council - Abuja
Employment Type: Permanent / Full Time
Direct Report: Business Development Manager
Monday – Friday (8am to 5pm)
Status: N/A

Responsibilities

• Achieve marketing targets.
• Provide feedback to support the review of business plans to achieve growth targets.
• Work closely with the internal teams to identify customer needs and market trends.
• Liaise with the Office Manager and Head Business Development to:
  • Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations/proposals to potential clients.

Requirements

• Preferably, a Degree in Marketing, Medical Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in medical related marketing or related role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

Additional Considerations:

• A non-practicing medical laboratory scientist is an advantage.
• Background in Applied Microbiology and Biochemistry.
• Part-time arrangements/collaborations.

Key Competencies

• Sufficient understanding of and experience in the medical services ecosystem, its offerings and/or operations; more specifically:
  • Blood Banking:
    • Donor Management
    • Off-takers (including all the derivatives)
  • Referrals & Outsourcing Services:
    • Lab-to-Lab
    • Clinic/Hospital-to-Lab
    • Other Medical and Quasi-Medical organizations
  • Research and Clinicals [additional onsite training to be provided].
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and report writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
• Results-oriented and driven to achieve targets (conversion of self-generated opportunities and/or already identified opportunities) and utilizing company approved business identification and generation strategies.
• Proficient use of MS Word and Excel (use of PowerPoint is an added advantage).

Remuneration
Base Pay:

• Negotiable.

Transaction Based Commissions/Benefits:

• Sign-on Bonus (large corporate clients only) – negotiable.
• Up to 5% of net revenue generated from signed-on and retained clients.

Medical Cover:

• Consultation (within the facility) – free
• Lab Investigation – eligible for staff discount on tests conducted in the facility
• Medications – subject to annual limits.
• Eligibility extends to immediate family only.
