Job Title: CSO Administrator

Location: Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The Administrator will provide dedicated administrative and clerical support to the office of the Chief Security Officer (CSO).
  • The role is designed to ensure smooth documentation, reporting, and coordination of security-related activities, thereby enabling the CSO to focus on strategic and operational security matters.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Clerical Support:

  • Manage daily correspondence, filing systems, and office documentation.
  • Draft, type, and review reports, memos, and investigation summaries as directed by the CSO.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, risk assessments, and security reports.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and briefings for the CSO.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports to the CSO.
  • Ensure timely documentation of incident reports, risk logs, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, or summaries for management review.

Coordination & Liaison:

  • Serve as the administrative link between the CSO’s office and other departments.
  • Support coordination with external agencies, contractors, and stakeholders as may be required.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the CSO and the security team.

Office & Resource Management:

  • Keep inventory of security office supplies, stationery, and reporting templates.
  • Track and organize security-related records for audits and compliance checks.
  • Support logistical arrangements for security trainings, meetings, and briefings.

Performance Indicators

  • Timeliness and accuracy of reports submitted to the CSO.
  • Efficiency in managing the CSO’s administrative workload.
  • Quality of documentation and records management.
  • Level of coordination and support provided to the CSO’s office.

Key Requirements
Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc/HND) in Social Sciences, Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate or 0–2 years relevant experience in administrative/clerical work.
  • Experience in security administration or corporate support (an added advantage, not mandatory).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with minimal supervision.
