Our client is seeking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Ophthalmologist to join their team in Asaba.
The successful candidate will provide professional eye care services, diagnose and treat eye-related conditions, and support patients in maintaining optimal vision and ocular health.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career ophthalmologist eager to grow in a supportive clinical environment.


Key Responsibilities


Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect abnormalities.
Diagnose and treat common eye diseases and injuries.
Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and non-surgical treatments where necessary.
Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
Educate patients on proper eye care, preventive measures, and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology practices and procedures.


Requirements


Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized institution.
Residency training or specialization in Ophthalmology
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
Willingness to reside in or relocate to Asaba, Delta State.
