Perform scheduled and proactive upkeep of W50 DF engines as specified by the manufacturer Manage the functioning and maintenance of W50 engines and supplementary equipment (including pumps, oil separators, filters, generators, fire safety devices, RO systems, and fuel units) Maintain accurate records of equipment upkeep in logbooks and digital systems like Maximo/FSM Observe equipment condition and report findings to supervisors Coordinate spare part procurement and optimize associated costs Implement 5S methodology and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
Qualifications:
Professional Experience: 5-6 years in a related role Familiarity with gas engine operations Prior experience with Wartsila Gas Engines (preferably 50DF models) is advantageous Knowledge of best practices in predictive and preventive maintenance Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance data analysis tools Dedicated to safety protocols and operational excellence
Educational Background:
Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Engineering (BE), or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering
