Principal Procurement Officer in Bassambiri, Bayelsa

The Federal University of Agriculture, Bassambiri (FUAB) was established by an Executive Act of the Federal Government in April, 2023. It is a specialized University located in Bassambiri in the Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. It was created by the Federal Government as part of its mandate to have a University of Agriculture in each of the six geo-political zones of the country. FUAB links teaching and research to the Niger Delta’s rich agricultural and marine resources. Academic activities commence in the 2025/2026 session with a student-centred, hands-on learning model aligned to NUC standards.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, Law, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Quantity Survey, Purchasing and Supply or any related discipline in a recognized Institution.
• Candidate must be computer literate, possess at least Twelve (12) years cognate experience and must have a good understanding of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 and its allied guidelines in Nigeria.

Salary Grade
CONTISS 11.
