Responsibilities
Deliver Engaging Lectures:
Design and deliver dynamic and interactive lectures on 3D animation principles, techniques, and software tools. Tailor content to meet the learning objectives of the course and the needs of students.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and multimedia tools to enhance learning and engagement.
Guide Hands-On Projects:
Supervise and support students through individual and group projects, helping them apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work to foster improvement and skill development.
Mentor Students:
Offer one-on-one mentoring and academic advising to students, helping them set and achieve their educational and career goals.
Assist students in building their portfolios and preparing for industry opportunities.
Create a Supportive Learning Environment:
Develop a classroom atmosphere that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.
Address and support diverse learning styles and needs, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
Stay Current with Industry Trends:
Continuously update your knowledge of the latest advancements and trends in 3D animation, including new software tools, techniques, and industry standards.
Integrate new developments into the curriculum to ensure students receive current and relevant instruction.
Contribute to Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with colleagues to design, develop, and refine course curricula and instructional materials.
Participate in the assessment of student learning outcomes and contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of academic programs.
Participate in Academic and Professional Activities:
Engage in academic and professional development activities, including attending workshops, conferences, and seminars related to 3D animation and education.
Contribute to departmental meetings and activities, sharing insights and participating in strategic planning.
Foster Industry Connections:
Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, studios, and organizations to facilitate guest lectures, workshops, and internship opportunities for students.
Stay connected with industry networks to keep the program aligned with current industry needs and standards.
Ensure Compliance with Academic Standards:
Adhere to institutional policies and academic standards in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance, ensuring transparency and fairness.

Collaborate with the academic community to support the institution's mission and goals, including participating in recruitment and outreach activities.

Requirements
Extensive experience in 3D animation, including proficiency in industry-standard software and tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, Unreal engine with a strong portfolio showcasing work in various aspects of 3D animation.
Demonstrated expertise in animation principles, character rigging, texturing, lighting, and rendering. Experience with project management and mentoring is also valued.
