Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process daily sales, reconcile sales systems to general ledger and prepare daily journal entries
Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits/expenses, and addresses inquiries from banks and department managers
Reconcile assigned General Ledger accounts
Assist in the preparation and review of monthly balance sheets, cash flow statements, and P&L statements
Maintain the general ledger for accuracy
Assist Director of Finance and Department managers with annual budget preparation and projections
Performs general accounting functions and other related duties for the organization
Maintain knowledge of GAAP and Ski industry trends
Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
3+ years experience in accounting/finance
High level of proficiency with Excel and Microsoft office suite
Experience with Microsoft 365 and Business Central is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize with a strong attention to detail
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong background with IT systems or ability to quickly learn new programs
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
