Key Responsibilities

Budgeting and Financial Planning:



Assist in developing and implementing the annual budget, as well as financial planning initiatives.



Financial Reporting:


Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for the school's leadership, including profit/loss, cash flow, and balance sheet analysis.


Compliance:


Ensure the school complies with all relevant financial regulations and obligations, including taxation and auditing.


Cash Handling:



Manage all cash collections and disbursements, banking activities, and reconcile financial accounts.



Invoice and Payment Administration:



Administer and record all invoices and payments, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to school procedures.



Supplier Management:



Coordinate and maintain a list of approved contractors and suppliers to ensure best value.



Reporting and Analysis:



Carry out and maintain analyses of costs and other statistical information, and prepare reports as needed.



Advise Leadership:



Advise the school's leadership on all financial matters, including the preparation of financial reports and presentations.



Attend Meetings:



Attend Board meetings and school management meetings as required.



Administrative Duties:



Ensure all administrative duties, documentation, reports, and returns are completed accurately and efficiently.



Financial Management:



Oversee all accounting transactions, including bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.



Payroll:



Administer payroll for all school employees, including deductions and compliance with relevant regulations, in coordination with Human Resources.



Requirement



Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 5 years work experience.
