We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Agent Support Manager for Africa to drive student recruitment growth across our Kaplan International Pathways Australia-New Zealand (KIP ANZ) portfolio.
This hands-on role entails delivering exceptional customer service, fostering strong business relationships, and supporting partner agents.
Candidates must possess a deep understanding of student recruitment and the international education sector, strong organisational skills, and a proactive attitude.
The ideal candidate will have experience working internationally in diverse markets and cultures.
Responsibilities include achieving personal and team recruitment targets from the Africa region while contributing to the overall success of the division and collaborating with colleagues across Kaplan International (KI) business lines.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Senior Regional Manager (Africa, Middle East & Central Asia) with a multi-channel recruitment strategy for Kaplan International Pathways ANZ across Africa
Effectively inform agents on KIP ANZ study options, including course and destination information, career opportunities, and application procedure, delivering best-in-sector customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
Regularly reporting on progress against objectives via agreed KPIs, and providing regular market intelligence and competitor analysis
Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Education Agents, Regional KI colleagues, University Partner Regional Managers (RM’s) (or equivalent), Sponsorship bodies, and Industry bodies
Actively collaborate with KIP ANZ businesses to identify collaborative opportunities for mutual benefit
Identifying sales opportunities and barriers through discussion with KIP ANZ and KI team members
Responding to all agent enquiries within forty-eight business hours
Assessing the ROI of participating in recruitment fairs and events, prioritising high-value activities
Providing in-region support and market intelligence to the wider KIP ANZ team and University Partners
Ensuring all stakeholders are given comprehensive training, recruiting students in line with the Department of Home Affairs (Australia) and Immigration New Zealand regulations, and having complete knowledge of all KIP ANZ products
Evaluating recruitment and marketing activities in the region, and working within budget
Requirements:
University-level education (essential)
Experience in international education agent relationship management (essential)
Experience in international sales or marketing with a solid understanding of the Australian and New Zealand International Higher Education industry (essential)
Experience of travel in the pan-Africa region
Results-orientated, ambitious, and highly self-motivated
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, who can engage confidently with a wide range of audiences and levels of organisational seniority
Strong grasp of marketing resources and how they can be used for different audiences
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities within tight deadlines
Excellent organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and in short timeframes, and to meet challenging targets
Willing to travel overseas independently and to work irregular hours as required
