JOB SUMMARY. 

We are seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance to oversee and manage our maintenance activities and operations for our growing fleet of aircraft.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all aviation regulations, uphold safety standards, and airworthiness while also optimizing aircraft availability and minimizing maintenance downtime.
You will lead a team of skilled technicians to deliver exceptional maintenance services. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training and support to ensure efficient operation. 
Develop and implement maintenance schedules, policies, procedures and protocol for Honda Jet aircraft with industry standards and best practices. 
Ensure compliance with NCAA and other relevant aviation authority regulations, manufacture requirements and company standards. 
Oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance including planning, scheduling, execution of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, modification, and component replacement. 
Collaborate with other departments, including flight dispatch, operations, quality, and safety to optimize availability and reliability. 
Manage inventory, procurement and the use of tools, equipment, and spare parts. 
Develop reports of key performance indices to project aircraft availability and project budgets. 
Interview alongside HR, supervise and train maintenance personnel, ensuring that all personnel are properly licensed, trained, and qualified to perform their duties.
Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and ensure timely documentation. 
Develop and implement maintenance safety programs and ensure that all maintenance personnel are properly trained in safety procedures. 
Develop reports of key performance indices to project aircraft availability and project budgets. 
Manage maintenance costs and work closely with the finance team to develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies. 

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 10 years experience in aircraft maintenance with at least 5 years of management experience 
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics and troubleshooting procedures 
Strong knowledge of NCAA regulations and industry standards related to aircraft maintenance. 
FAA License
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively. 
Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements and safety protocols in the aviation industry. 
Exceptional organizational and communication skills 
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards. 
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with budgeting and cost management 
Must be willing to travel as required. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance or related field 
Substantial work experience with challenger and Lear Jet models
