Daystar Power Group is looking to engage a competent Analyst, Business Intelligence & Strategic Projects. The analyst will contribute to the success of Daystar by supporting the Business Intelligence and Strategic Projects functions. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our energy systems by extracting meaningful insights from complex datasets to drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include business analysis, data analysis, KPI development, dashboard creation, providing strategic insights through financial analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address business needs. Key responsibilities:

Continuous Monitoring of Power-Generating Assets: Oversee the monitoring and analysis of network performance, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our renewable energy systems.
Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth performance and root cause analysis to identify and address network issues, implementing preventive measures.
Strategic Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide support on high-priority strategic projects, contributing analytical insights and expertise
Data Analysis: Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets related to renewable energy production, consumption, and operational efficiency.
Quality Control: Ensure the quality control of network operations through regular reviews, audits, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
KPI Development: Contribute to the definition and development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and monitor business performance.
Strategic Insights: Provide strategic insights by conducting financial analysis, cost optimization studies, and evaluating the performance of renewable energy projects.

Requirements
Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or Business Analytics, etc.
Experience:

1 – 5 years of proven experience with a successful track record in similar functional environments such as business intelligence, management consulting, strategy and business analysis, business operations
Proven experience in breaking down and solving complex problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
Proven experience in the renewable energy sector
Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence software.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
