Description 

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding the integrity of our financial and operational systems, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities 

Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records, including medical billing and coding practices, to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls related to financial reporting, revenue cycle management, and risk management.
Identify potential areas of non-compliance or inefficiency and recommend corrective actions.
Analyze data trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Collaborate with various departments, including finance, coding, and operations, to address identified issues and implement corrective actions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare regulations and coding practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Must be ICAN certified
Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare auditing or a related field.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, coding practices, and revenue cycle management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software (experience with specific healthcare audit software a plus).
