Responsibilities
Expertise in AutoCAD for designing and drafting detailed layouts of pipelines, compression stations, and CNG/LNG facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Knowledge of ASME/ANSI and API standards.
Proficient in creating and modifying P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), 3D models, and isometric drawings for CNG and LNG infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and civil integration.
Ensure all drawings adhere to NMDPRA regulations, including safety spacing, equipment clearance, and gas pipeline diameter requirements.
In-depth knowledge of piping materials, fittings, MOC (Material of Construction), and the ability to generate civil drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for project specifications.
Proficiency in structural material types and sizes, along with a foundational understanding of electrical systems for integrated project execution.
Proficiency in MS Projects/Primavera, with expertise in scope management, variations, and change management.
Strong skills in scheduling, managing schedule creep, and analysing S-curve data for project performance tracking.
Support the engineering and project teams in designing and reviewing site plans, piping layouts, mechanical structures, and facility blueprints.
Prepare regulatory-compliant drawings required for approvals from NMDPRA and other industry regulators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and site personnel, to interpret and implement design concepts effectively.
Maintain accurate version control and documentation of all drawings
Generate as-built drawings, revisions, and updates based on on-site modifications.
Ensure spatial accuracy and technical feasibility in all drawings to support project execution and regulatory submissions.
Stay up to date with industry trends, AutoCAD advancements, and new design software tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
