Job Summary
The ideal candidate would be required to undergo technical operations on simple and complex systems and/or perform highly technical mechanical or diagnostic tests. May operate individually or among groups to diagnose, assess, repair, or maintain Company products, as per SLAs or as requested.
Responsibilities
Maintains tools in good working condition and ensures functionality; and makes sure the tools are being used in the proper manner.
Ensures spare parts instalment, replacement, and acquiring is based on the company standards and relevant policies and procedures.
Diagnoses equipment (Generator, Vehicle, Electrical Components, etc.) maintenance needs based on scheduled and arising needs and reports any potential issue that may not be scheduled and completing site maintenance reports of the work done with generator status, to avoid preventable breakdowns from occurring.
Conducts regular maintenance and modifications as requested, and report potential issues that involve high risk of failure or injury.

Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues and accurately Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.
Seeks continuous improvement through following up on latest technical and design related trends, and reports
Liaises with cross-functional teams on technical operations that require involvement of several team members to ensure effectiveness.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation and reporting on planned assignments and duties and pursues needed approvals for non-routine and ad-hoc assignments.
Ensures the assembled/maintained equipment/item and the working area are left clean and organized periodically, and after work is completed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Mechanical, Electrical, or Technical Degree or Equivalent in Engineering.
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role and industry.
Proven experience as an auto mechanic
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
