Responsibilities
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing and managing the Umuahia Branch
Developing and implementing strategies for expanding business growth and portfolio
Providing leadership and guidance to relationship Managers within the branch
Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Fostering positive and collaborative work environment to drive employee engagement and retention.
Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective disbursement opportunities
Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
Bring out the best of branches’ personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
Microfinance Certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
5 - 8+ years of proven work experience.
Minimum of 4 years Experience in a similar role.
Proven experience within the finance industry
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans is required.
