Employment Information

Responsibilities 

Day-to-day tasks for a Cashier mainly involve assisting customers at the till, but they are also expected to help out in other areas of the store when required. 
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers 
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate 
Collect correct payments whether in cash or credit 
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets 
Redeem stamps and coupons for customers 
Cross-sell products and introduce new ones 
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information 
Greet customers when entering or leaving the store 
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas 
Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies 

Skills and Qualifications 

Candidates should possess OND qualifications 
At least 2 years relevant work experience. 
Ability to pay attention to details 
Customer service experience
