Job Summary


A reputable filling station located in Oregun, Lagos is urgently seeking to hire a diligent and trustworthy Cashier to manage daily cash and sales transactions. 
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle large volumes of cash with accuracy.


Key Responsibilities and Duties


Accurately handle and record cash, POS, and transfer transactions from fuel attendants.
Reconcile sales records at the end of each shift/day.
Issue receipts and maintain proper documentation of all transactions.
Monitor and report any discrepancies or irregularities in daily accounts.
Ensure proper balancing of sales and remittance to management.
Support fuel attendants and management with accurate data for stock and sales reporting.
Keep the cashier booth clean, organised, and professional.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a courteous attitude.


Job Requirements


Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND qualification; additional certifications in accounting or business are a plus.
Prior experience in a cashier or cash-handling role (especially in a fuel station) is an advantage.
Strong mathematical and reconciliation skills.
Honesty, integrity, and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must reside in or around Oregun, Ikeja or be able to commute reliably.
