Job Description


A consumer insight Executive is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data about consumer behavior, preferences, and market trends.
The goal is to provide valuable insights that help organizations understand their target audience better and inform business strategies, marketing plans, product development, and customer experience improvements.


Responsibilities


Gather data through various methods, including surveys, focus groups, social media monitoring, and customer feedback.
Utilize customer databases, CRM systems, and other tools to analyze consumer behavior and trends.
Monitor and interpret relevant market trends and competitor strategies.
Assist in designing qualitative and quantitative research projects to gather consumer insights.
Manage the end-to-end process of market research studies, from project planning to execution and reporting.
Conduct demographic analysis and segmentation to understand specific target groups.
Translate raw data into actionable insights that can support decision-making processes.
Present findings in clear and engaging reports, presentations, and dashboards to stakeholders.
Provide recommendations based on consumer insights to inform product development, marketing, and sales strategies.
Work closely with marketing, product development, sales, and customer service teams to ensure consumer insights align with business needs.
Liaise with external market research agencies to ensure that commissioned research meets company objectives.
Communicate findings to senior leadership and other internal stakeholders to drive consumer-centric strategies.
Keep track of industry developments, changes in consumer behavior, and new technologies affecting consumer engagement.
Continuously monitor consumer touchpoints such as websites, social media platforms, and customer service channels to identify emerging trends and customer satisfaction levels.
Track and measure the effectiveness of business strategies based on consumer data.
Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, new products, or services through consumer feedback and sales data.
Benchmark company performance against industry trends and competitors.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Analytics, Psychology, or a related field.
Postgraduate qualification in market research or consumer behavior is a plus.
Proven experience (typically 2-4 years) in market research, consumer insights, or a similar role.
Experience in using data analytics tools (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, Power BI) and CRM systems.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
Proficient in statistical analysis and reporting techniques.
Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to maintain high accuracy levels when analyzing data and reporting findings.
