Job Summary
As our Corporate Lawyer, you'll join our dynamic team of legal experts, providing top-tier legal services to businesses operating in Nigeria. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Nigerian corporate law and exceptional analytical skills, you'll guide clients through complex business transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on corporate and commercial matters, including company formations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring within the Nigerian legal framework.
Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate documents such as shareholder agreements, memoranda of understanding, and commercial contracts.
Ensure clients' compliance with Nigerian corporate laws, regulations, and stock exchange requirements.
Provide legal counsel on corporate governance issues, directors' duties, and shareholders' rights under Nigerian law and assist in due diligence processes for corporate transactions and investments in Nigeria.
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from an accredited Nigerian university.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience in Nigeria, preferably in a law firm setting.
Barrister at Law qualification from the Nigerian Law School.
Proficiency in legal research databases and software applications used in Nigeria.
Salary
N300,000- N350,000
