Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Analysis Tutor to join our team onsite in Ibadan.
As a Tutor, you will deliver engaging and practical lessons in data analysis tools and techniques to students ranging from beginners to intermediate level.
This is a part-time role, ideal for professionals who enjoy teaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities
Teach data analysis concepts, techniques, and tools to students through one-on-one sessions, group classes, or online platforms.
Guide students through practical applications of data analysis, including data cleaning, statistical analysis, data visualization, and interpretation of results.
Create and adapt instructional materials, including lesson plans, exercises, and assessments, to meet the needs of students.
Instruct students on key data analysis tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, R, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn), Tableau, and additional relevant tools as needed.
Evaluate students’ progress through assignments, quizzes, and projects, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Address students' questions and challenges, offering solutions and strategies to overcome obstacles.
Complete any necessary administrative tasks related to teaching, such as maintaining student records, reporting progress, and coordinating with educational institutions if required.
Requirements
Proven experience in data analysis.
Strong command of the following tools/languages: Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python.
Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about teaching and mentoring others.
Must reside in Ibadan or be able to commute to our onsite location.
