We are rcruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Director, Financial Services

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Reports to: Managing Director/ Chief Executive  Officer


Job Summary


    To ensure the sustenance of integrity of financial records and reports, safety of financial assets as well as enhancement of shareholder values.


Principal Accountabilities


    Formulate cost effective financial policies and procedures 
    Establish a timely financial reporting system
    Establish an effective system of optimal working capital management.
    Carry out regular review of the financial records to ensure integrity of data is sustained.
    Scan the environment for Risks/Opportunities and potential impact on company operations
    Manage company finances to prevent disruption of operations
    Safeguard company funds and Assets through adequate Internal Controls
    Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies requirements
    Administer Finance Division for effectiveness
    Ensure that all team members are properly educated on the ISO 9001-2015 QMS


Other Duties:


    Reporting on monthly business performance for MD/Excom/Mancom
    Ensure timely, monthly submission of unaudited financial statements to SEC/NGX after Audit committee & Board Approval.
    Oversee the annual budget process from Aug to Nov with Board approval.
    Prepare all relevant reports for quarterly Board & Committee meetings.
    Responsible for responding/compliance to all Financial regulatory requirements including corporate governance -FRCN/FIRS/SEC/NGX/Taxes
    Oversee Treasury management to ensure adequate funds for the business
    Oversee the external audit process and ensure a successful AGM annually
    Establish a cordial relationship with shareholders & the Registrars
    Must have good knowledge of IFRS, Standard costing, Manufacturing environment, Capital/Stock market operations, ERP systems.
    Ensure adequate controls over data integrity and financial reporting


Qualifications


    Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc (Accounts/Finance/ Economics)/ACA 
    Minimum of 10 years Accounting/ financial experience of which at least five years must be in a Managerial Position, preferably in a core manufacturing or auditing practice.
