We are seeking a dynamic and organized Engineering Store Manager to oversee our engineering inventory and materials management. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and efficient production processes within our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:

 Maintain accurate records of engineering materials, tools, and equipment.
Monitor stock levels and initiate procurement of materials as needed to support production schedules.
Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover.

Supplier Management: 

Identify reliable suppliers and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing.

Team Coordination:

Coordinate with engineering teams to understand their material requirements and ensure availability.
Work closely with purchasing, logistics, and production departments to streamline workflows.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to health and safety regulations in storing and handling materials.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and procurement activities.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in inventory management practices.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Certification in Inventory Management (e.g., CPIM) is a plus.
