PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage equipment and wells by implementing operational and safety protocols and guidelines to fulfill daily production plans, minimize equipment breakdowns, and efficiently administer resources
DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS
Accountable for executing daily work objectives, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring safety, health, environmental protection, and security
Enthusiastic involvement in daily briefings and scheduled, documented safety meetings
Recognize and implement corrective and optimization measures through continuous monitoring of wells and equipment to ensure dependable, efficient, and safe operational conditions
Serve as Equipment Care Specialist, and routinely employ maintenance skills in performing basic upkeep activities
Notify when alarm, emergency, or emergency shutdown systems are non-operational
Deliver comprehensive, lucid, and precise information during shift changes to ensure unit conditions are current and maintain operational continuity
Organize, oversee, and monitor maintenance tasks in accordance with corrective, predictive, and preventive planning
Consistently document in the log book all significant operational events and abnormal situations or deviations occurring in the work area, equipment, or personnel
Collect product samples for laboratory analysis and conduct field laboratory tests
Enthusiastic participation in emergency response activities
Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
Ensure that Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted regarding operational activities
Maintain effective communication within the work team to adequately address issues and actions
Provide essential information concerning well production issues, current production rates, and present well conditions
Ensure that well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
Verify that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and in proper working order prior to
Wellwork operations assuming responsibility for the well during intervention procedures
Offer assistance and support to ongoing Wellwork operations as required
ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Completed secondary education and previous experience as a Field Technician
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
High standard of Safety, Health, and Environmental aptitude and fosters the same in others
Comprehensive understanding of pipeline operations
In-depth knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes
Extensive familiarity with Emergency Preparedness Procedures
Thorough understanding of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
Well-versed in relevant regulations
Familiar with pertinent commercial agreements
Particular Requirements
Minimum of 18 months professional experience as a deck officer on Tanker vessel or FSO/FPSO
