This is a full-time role as an Account and Finance Manager at a company located in Abuja.
As an Account and Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial planning, and analysis.
You will also be responsible for managing the company's accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial reports and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Accounting certifications (e.g. ICAN, ACCA, etc.)
At least 2 years of experience in an Account and Finance Manager role or a similar leadership position, combined with a minimum of 4 years in accounting.
Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in the LPG industry is a plus

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Operations:

Monitor day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, advances, reimbursements, payroll, and other transactions.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting and month-end closing processes.
Manage the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and management reports.
Oversee company sales of LPG and Value Added Services.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects.
Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Make estimates of funds required for short and long-term financial objectives.
Provide financial insight and analysis to drive business performance.
Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments.
Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
Complete financial reports, lead month-end closing processes, and conduct monthly financial forecasts.

Budget Management:

Manage the preparation of budgets.
Monitor and track budget implementation across the organization.

Strategic Financial Management:

Provide strategic financial management insights and advice.
Evaluate financial strategies and initiatives to support organizational goals.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with tax returns and other statutory requirements.
Review and challenge assumptions within detailed financial forecasts to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Maintain knowledge of financial compliance regulations in Nigeria.

Leadership and Communication:

Lead and manage the finance team effectively.
Communicate complex financial issues and models in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders.
Exhibit excellent communication, business presentation, and persuasion skills.
