Job Overview
Primary Duties:
Evaluate vehicles post-maintenance to confirm all necessary repairs have been completed.
Perform post-refurbishment evaluations using standardized checklists to ensure vehicles meet established refurbishment criteria.
Provide guidance and mentorship to vehicle technicians on industry-leading practices in maintenance and refurbishment.
Review spare parts designated for refurbishment to verify they meet quality and specification requirements.
Work in conjunction with the Vehicle Maintenance Manager to create and enhance inspection checklists, maintenance routines, and process standards.
Ensure electric vehicle (EV) batteries are fully charged prior to activation.
Confirm and record the accuracy of crucial vehicle information, including battery serial number, charger compatibility, and chassis number.
Qualifications
Education: At minimum, an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in any Engineering discipline.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience as a vehicle technician or in fleet management.
Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems, inspection protocols, and EV components.
Soft Skills: Meticulousness, ability to adhere to and improve procedures, teamwork, and effective communication skills.
