Core Responsibilities

Reposition the courier business to become the industry leader.
Utilize available technology to drive sales of the company’s services.
Manage overheads to improve the company's day-to-day financial position.
Increase sales to boost revenue.
Improve business processes and operations to enhance performance and profitability.
Recruit high-quality drivers.
Ensure all trucks and bikes are roadworthy, fully utilized, and maintain turnaround time (TAT) at all times.
Ensure the Northern region generates sufficient sales to backload trucks to the Western and Eastern regions within the approved TAT.
Ensure all branch managers generate business.
Uphold excellent service delivery in accordance with world-class standards and foster customer loyalty.

Candidate Profile

A B.Sc / HND in Business Administration or in Transport-related course from a recognized Tertiary Institution
Must have at least 12 years post qualification experience in the Logistics Industry with 8 Years in Senior management position preferably Head of Operations or Head of marketing of any courier Company in Nigeria
Track record of implementing digital business processes
Strong sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, networking and campaign management).
Detailed understanding of sales process and demonstration of world-class sales rigor and determination.
Proven sales ability with historic success at exceeding new business targets, whilst excelling at customer retention through professional account management, development and planning skills.
Track record of success in B2B business sales
Must be a member of a recognized professional body.
