Position Details
Duties:
Responsible for delivering practical and theoretical instruction in the Graphic Design Program and User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX), covering but not limited to the following subjects: Print and Production, Product Design, Computer Graphics, Typography, and Graphic Design.
Design Principles, Creating & interpreting project briefs, User Experience design, Wireframe design, Mockup, Photoshop, Typography, Adobe XD, Site Maps, Rapid prototyping, Design Research, Usability Sketching, Clickable prototypes, Prototyping, Mobile Design, Product Design, User interface design, UX / UI, Sketch, Figma.
Formulate and plan appropriate instructional strategies, including alternative delivery methods when necessary.
Teach students in classes and participate in college service activities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Provide guidance and support to students experiencing difficulties with assignments, tests, grades, course content, and career concerns.
Assess student performance in courses taught by the instructor.
Create and maintain curriculum in collaboration with the department head.
Engage in instructional and curriculum articulation activities with other programs and other divisions of instruction.
Develop curriculum and provide instruction in various non-traditional formats to meet student and business needs.

Proficiency in oral and written communications.
Practical and demonstrable hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, and InDesign
Practical and demonstrable hands-on experience using Corel Draw, Corel Photo Paint and other relevant software.
Design Principles
The ideal candidate will possess a strong graphic portfolio, enthusiasm for technology, and the ability to teach all Microsoft Office Package applications.
Creating and Interpreting project briefs
Demonstrated and documented professional working knowledge of electronic document preparation and traditional production methods in a provided portfolio.
Requirements:
B.Sc or HND or OND or NCE Graduate in any field.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of professional experience (excluding teaching) in Adobe Illustration, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Corel Draw, Adobe XD, Figma and other utility software or related fields.
A minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
Essential: Experience working in different CAD environments, primarily Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, Corel Draw, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Assess student performance in courses taught by the instructor.
Provide guidance and support to students experiencing difficulties with assignments, tests, grades, course content, career concerns, and other academic matters.
Create and maintain curriculum in collaboration with the department head.
Engage in instructional and curriculum articulation activities with other programs and other divisions of instruction.
Adhere to college policies and directives regarding student testing, record keeping, advanced standing, providing grades on a timely basis, maintaining office hours for student assistance and counseling, etc.
Language proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English (Essential)
Strong communication and presentation skills.
