The Group Chief Operations Officer will be tasked with enhancing operational efficiency across multiple entities, including Mshel Homes, Mshel Construction, Mshel Print, Mshel Information Technology, Blocks and Machinery, and Lisa Suites. This position requires a strategic leader with a proven history of managing diverse business functions and promoting operational excellence in various industries.
Primary Duties:
Craft and implement operational strategies, plans, and procedures to foster growth and profitability across all business units within the group.
Develop policies that reinforce company culture and vision

Engage in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances)

Supervise the operations of the companies and collaborate closely with executives and senior management to align operations with overall business goals.
Guide cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations and resource utilization.

Adopt best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
Guarantee compliance with industry regulations and company policies across all operations.
Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to drive operational excellence.
Work in tandem with the finance and HR departments to ensure operational alignment with financial goals and workforce planning.
Deliver regular reports and updates to the group's board of directors on operational performance and key initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience as a Chief Operations Officer or senior operational leadership role within a multi-industry environment.
Robust strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Proven ability to drive change and lead operational transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with real estate, construction, printing, information technology, and machinery industries is advantageous.
Certification in operations management or a related field is desirable.
