Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Head Cook for a Commercial Kitchen/Restaurant located at Ikoyi, Lagos.
The Head Cook will oversee the daily process of running the kitchen and managing food preparation for events and outdoor catering.
He/She will direct kitchen staff and handle all food-related issues, including checking up on food supplies, planning menus, and creating new recipes.
Requirements
SSCE or OND qualification.
5 – 10 years’ cooking experience in a Fast-food restaurant, Hotel and related experience.
Experience working as a Head Cook in Fast Food restaurant or food business.
Knowledge of how to prepare both local and continental dishes.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organizational and process management skills
Catering certificate or qualification is an advantage
Qualification in Culinary Arts from an accredited culinary school is preferred.
Candidates must live close to job location: Ikoyi.
