Job Description


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Department for Science, Technology, and Mathematics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the department, enhancing curriculum delivery, and fostering a culture of academic excellence.


Key Responsibilities


Provide leadership and mentorship to departmental staff.
Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies.
Oversee curriculum planning, delivery, and assessment.
Monitor students’ academic progress and implement improvement plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Organize and facilitate department meetings and professional development sessions.
Ensure adherence to educational standards and school policies.


Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a science-related subject.
Proven leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reside in Ibadan or nearby locations and willing to attend the interview.
