Job Objective:

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of effective marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.
The role requires a deep understanding of the financial industry and the ability to innovate in a dynamic market.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and continually refine a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the bank's business objectives.
Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and make recommendations regarding marketing strategy.
Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of strategic marketing plans including defining success criteria, measuring effectiveness of initiatives, and reporting on results.
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
Provide leadership in business development strategy and execute regular sales activities to generate business.
Manage and enhance the banks brand image and positioning in the market.
Collaborate with product teams to create and execute effective marketing campaigns for new and existing products of the bank.
Set annual marketing performance goals for the all staff and develop initiatives for the achievement of those goals.
Ensure that all marketing activities comply with regulatory standards and ethical practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, HND, or M.Sc. in Marketing, Business
Administration, Banking & Finance or a related field
Proven microfinance experience in similar role.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
Sound understanding of the banking industry, particularly
microfinance banking services, regulations, and professional standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Excellent organizational, managerial, and decision-making skills.
Not more than 40 years old.
