Job Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
Identify and secure new B2B partnerships (hotels, supermarkets, restaurants, African stores abroad).
Expand B2C sales through retail, direct-to-consumer, and online channels.
Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities.
Manage the sales pipeline, closing high-value corporate deals.
Coordinate with logistics & operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Write business proposals for funding, grants, and trade partnerships.
Human Resources & Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.
Develop and implement HR policies, handbooks, and onboarding processes.
Oversee performance reviews, salary structures, and employee engagement strategies.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Create training programs to upskill employees and enhance leadership development.
Strategy & Leadership
Align business growth goals with HR strategies for scalable operations.
Drive employee productivity through structured KPIs.
Represent Wangaraufoods at trade fairs, networking events, and industry meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years in Business Development, Sales, or HR Management.
Proven experience in B2B & B2C sales growth, market expansion, and distribution.
Strong negotiation & networking skills to close high-value deals.
Knowledge of food distribution, supply chain management, and HR best practices.
FMCG, Agriculture, or Food Processing industry experience (preferred).
Ability to work independently and drive company growth with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sales, or Supply Chain Management.
Experience using HR software & CRM tools (Zoho, BambooHR, etc.).
Strategic mindset with a passion for business growth and people management.
