Person Specifications
Education / Qualifications:
First Degree in Social Sciences or Arts/humanities is essential.
Membership of relevant professional bodies is desirable.
Experience:
At least 3 years’ post NYSC experience, 2 of which should be in an M&E experience in the development sector is essential.
Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of women’s rights, conflict mitigation, preventing violent extremism and/or democracy and governance programmes is essential
Experience working with development agencies, organizations, government officials, civil society leaders, community leaders and programme beneficiaries is essential.
Ability to use the District Health Information System (DHIS)/or any other database software is desirable.
Skill / Abilities:
Demonstrated relevant technical skills in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
Excellent organizational as well as English oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc., and the ability to use various statistical software programmes such as SPSS, STATA. and written communication skills, including report writing.
Knowledge of reporting procedures, best practices, guidelines, and tools for monitoring, evaluation, and learning, including impact evaluation.
