Key Duties
Perform unbiased and thorough evaluations of the Bank's internal controls for financial reporting, operations, and compliance.
Recognize and assess potential risks, suggesting and implementing control enhancements.
Develop comprehensive audit reports, outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.
Monitor the implementation of agreed-upon actions resulting from audits.
Support investigations into suspected fraudulent activities or irregularities.
Maintain a robust understanding of relevant accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Keep abreast of industry best practices in internal auditing.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is highly desirable).
At least 2-3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within a banking environment.
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent and objective audits.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to various levels of management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with knowledge of internal audit software being an advantage.
