We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Staff member to join our Organization. The ideal candidate will support the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensure the smooth operation of all computer systems and networks, and assist with both hardware and software troubleshooting. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for technology, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent internal customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and other IT equipment
Provide technical support to staff across departments (in person, via phone, e-mail, via Computer/ Laptops or remotely)
Troubleshoot system and network issues in a timely and accurate fashion
Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning as needed
Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
Assist in maintaining IT documentation, including inventory and user manuals
Manage user accounts and permissions in systems such as email, databases, and internal platforms
Support implementation of new technologies and system upgrades
Stay updated with the latest IT trends and best practices
Qualifications:
HND, Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in an IT support or technician role
Knowledge of Windows/Mac operating systems, networking protocols, and IT security best practices
Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
