Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist who will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and implementation of computer systems, hardware, and software.
The IT Specialist will ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems, and troubleshoot issues.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer systems, networks, and applications
Provide technical support and assistance to staff
Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
Conduct regular system backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or changes to improve system performance
Collaborate with other IT team members to achieve departmental goals
Develop and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
Provide training and support to staff on new technologies and systems
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
