Job Responsibilities:
Lead the team member to test and troubleshoot electronic circuitry and subsystem components.
Build and assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies
Carry out maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation of equipment and chemical feed systems, pump drives, and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system
Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrade of the electrical distribution infrastructure systems of the organisation
Carry out thermography of electrical distribution panels and motor control
Troubleshoot problems by gathering and analysing power quality data
Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of control systems and de-energized higher voltage equipment
Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of building circuits and similar equipment
Perform maintenance of alarm and SCADA systems, electrical pneumatic and electronic controls, programmable controls, and other similar equipment
Prepare reports, maintain records, and requisition supplies and parts
Inspect and supervise work done by team members and external vendors.
Perform Electrical Subsystem verification testing, calibration, and troubleshooting; document work and results in conformance with the company Standard Operating Procedures
Build cables from sketches and Document cable assemblies
Create other documentation as requested (Test Procedures, Work Instructions, Test Reports)
Participate in continuous improvement activities, including fixture development and process improvement
Calibrate PCB assemblies and load programming patterns using personal computers
Conduct inspections and testing of product components to ensure compliance to specifications and applicable standards
Assists engineers in sourcing/procuring components and supplies of all electrical/electronic materials.
Manage equipment used by Engineering and lab personnel

Job Requirements:
B.Sc., HND or Master’s degree in electrical-electronics engineering and any professional certification
Minimum of 20 years’ experience in FMCG manufacturing company
A good understanding of industrial electrical, electronics and instrumentation processes, both hands on and theory is required
Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals
Effective communication skills in order to deliver superior performance
Knowledge of electrical practices and theory, procedures and policies on data and networking
Technical skills in electrical- electronics software and programming methods, computer hardware maintenance techniques and methods
Knowledge of safety regulations, ladder logic and programmable logic controllers
Solid knowledge of calibration methods and standards, and ladder logic diagrams and schematics
Strong knowledge of practices and principles of system troubleshooting, and SCADA hardware and software systems
Exceptional skill in applying discretion, judgment, and initiative within established guidelines, rules, and procedures
Ability to define problems, determine facts, and draw accurate conclusions
Skills to read and interpret schematics and blueprints and apply power and hand tools
Maintain a good working relationship with employees, supervisors, suppliers, vendors, contractors and external public agencies.
Ability and willingness to impact knowledge to new Technicians on production and maintenance of machines and equipment.
