Job Overview:

The Accounting Associate – Healthcare at eMedic Health Technologies Ltd will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our healthcare marketplace. This role demands a blend of accounting expertise and a keen understanding of the healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with healthcare financial regulations, thereby contributing to the efficient financial operation of eMedicStore.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage daily accounting operations, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
Conduct financial analysis and reporting for healthcare transactions.
Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacies for financial reconciliations.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
Monitor and forecast the company's financial status, cash flow, and liquidity.
Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for healthcare services.
Oversee the financial aspects of vendor and supplier contracts.
Implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures.
Coordinate with external auditors for periodic audits.
Handle tax preparations and filings specific to the healthcare industry.
Manage medical billing processes and resolve discrepancies.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in healthcare operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in healthcare or related industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in healthcare.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
