Our client, a well-established full-service construction company, is in search of a skilled and meticulous Land & Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with performing precise land and building surveys, determining property boundaries, and providing crucial data to support construction, renovation, and structural projects.
Primary Duties:
Conduct land and building surveys utilizing advanced equipment such as total stations, GPS, 3D scanners, and other cutting-edge tools.
Measure and map building interiors and exteriors to ensure precision for construction, renovation, or restoration projects.
Examine buildings to evaluate structural integrity, identify defects, and suggest maintenance or corrective actions.
Generate comprehensive survey reports, floor plans, and condition assessments to aid decision-making processes.
Provide guidance on building regulations compliance, property condition, and construction quality.
Determine legal property boundaries and prepare survey documents in accordance with regulatory standards.
Work in tandem with engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver accurate survey data and technical insights.
Oversee and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards during survey operations.
Maintain precise survey records, maps, and databases for internal and regulatory purposes.
Candidate Requirements:
B.Sc./ HND in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in conducting both land and building surveys.
Proven track record of working on high-rise building projects is essential.
Proficiency in surveying software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and GIS tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of property boundary principles, construction layouts, and local land regulations.
Relevant professional certification will be considered an advantage.
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high degree of accuracy.
Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
