Job Overview:
- The Supply Chain Pharmacy Assistant, working closely with the Lead Supply Chain Pharmacist, plays a pivotal role in facilitating and optimizing the procurement process.
- They will leverage their knowledge in procurement and data analytics to ensure a smooth supply chain operation while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the Lead Supply Chain Pharmacist in procurement and order fulfillment tasks.
- Oversee the entire invoice order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to optimize procurement processes.
- Analyze supply chain data to pinpoint trends, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders to meet delivery expectations.
- Engage with finance teams to confirm accurate billing and streamline payment processes.
- Generate and review reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
- Participate in discussions with IT teams to harness data analytics for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry and company standards throughout the order fulfillment process.
- Provide insights for inventory optimization and demand forecasting based on order trends.
- Build robust relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Proactively identify and address any potential bottlenecks or disruptions in the supply chain.
- Regularly audit data sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist the Lead Supply Chain Pharmacist in negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or any related field.
