Job Summary
Management of all RFL’s vegetables, & fruits and other product mix agribusiness (RFL: V&F and other product mix) matters concerning the sales & marketing operations and other related activities under the direct supervision and direction of the Head of Operation, RFL.
Planning, coordinating, and supervising of RFL sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and controlling of Trade Receivables
Market development – Increase revenue drive.
Developing and maintaining the Customer Data Base.
Collating and reporting market trends, customer, suppliers, and market competitiveness
Achieving customer’s satisfaction: Product availability, prompt delivery, product quality, proper product handling and packaging.
Prompt customer service attendance
Manage market expenditures within the planned budget.
Monitoring and reporting sales performance and addressing issues when necessary.
Conduct Market Surveys / Scoping/Competitiveness and customer’s value services and growth potential.
Training of sales team members on all RFL:V&F and other product mix matters concerning the sales and marketing operations and related other activities under the direct supervision and direction of the Head of Operations
Follow strict management, operational and monitoring programmes as agreed with the
Head of Operations from time-to-time w.r.t. the sales & marketing operations and other related matters
Ongoing provision of operational information (and such other relevant information as may from time-to-time be required or deemed necessary) to the Head of Operations
Assisting the Head of Operations with the preparation of and/or participation in the preparation of a business plan(s) for the Head of Operation’s various vegetables & fruits and other product mix agribusiness projects and ensuring implementation in line with approved budgets of the same from time-to-time as may be required.
Monitoring the performance of his direct area of responsibility on an ongoing basis against approved programmes and budgets in order to timely recommend any action the Head of Operations may need to consider appropriate for the protection of RFL:V&F and other product mix assets – Risk Management.
Implementing all relevant procedures as advised by the Head of Operations from time-to-time to maintain compliance with ARM rules and procedures and to maintain compliance with regulatory statutes and authorities.
Any other agribusiness related tasks as advised by the Head of Operations to ensure compliance with ARM rules and procedures, with regulatory statutes and authorities, and to ensure project implementation in line with approved budgets as may be required from time-to-time.
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of all facets of large scale mechanized commercial vegetables
and fruits, and other product mix knowledge.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualification & Experience Requirements
Applicable Tertiary Education certificates
Minimum of 5 years’ Sales post-graduation work experience in practical large-scale commercial vegetables, and fruits operations.
