We are seeking an experienced Market Research and Vendor Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market research to identify trending products for our online e-commerce platform and building relationships with reliable vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify trending products, consumer behavior, and market gaps.
Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer preferences to inform product offerings.
Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and other contractual agreements with vendors.
Ensure vendors meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless product launches.
Develop and maintain a database of vendors, including performance metrics and product offerings.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimize vendor management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in market research, vendor management, or a related field.
Proven track record of conducting market research and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Experience with market research tools and software is an added advantage.
