Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant/Secretary to join the administrative office of our educational institution.
The ideal candidate will provide support in handling clerical duties, managing communication, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and directing inquiries appropriately.
Maintaining and organizing office files and records, both in digital and physical formats.
Assisting in preparing reports, documents, and presentations as required.
Managing the office supply inventory and placing orders when necessary.
Scheduling appointments and meetings, and managing the office calendar.
Welcoming and directing visitors, parents, and other school stakeholders.
Supporting the administrative team in daily office tasks.
Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the office environment.
Assisting in preparing materials for school events and activities.
Handling any additional tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications
Minimum of an SSCE/OND in relevant fields (Office Administration, Secretarial Studies, etc.).
Previous experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently when necessary.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Must be resident in or near Apata, Ibadan or willing to relocate close to the school.
