Position Overview:
The Operations Assistant (Finance and Admin) will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Peace Shapers' administrative and financial functions.
This role combines finance management with administrative support to help maintain our organization's daytoday activities.
The ideal candidate is detailoriented, organized, and committed to supporting the mission of Peace Shapers.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Management: Assist in processing invoices, tracking expenditures, and preparing financial reports.
Administrative Support: Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, recordkeeping, and handling correspondence.
Compliance: Ensure financial and administrative procedures are followed, and assist with documentation for audits.
General Support: Provide assistance to the COO and other team members with project management and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in finance, administration, or operations, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial software such as QuickBooks.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
