Employment Information

The Product Marketing Officer shall be responsible for providing support on product planning and product marketing as well as content development.
The person shall support the Product Marketing Manager to drive value from marketing activities, channels, and strategy, while creating and executing an effective content strategy across offline and digital channels to achieve set goals.

Responsibilitie(s):
Product Marketing

Provide support in executing the go-to-market marketing, digital campaigns, and guerrilla campaigns to promote each product identified with the outcome of achieving product subscriptions.
Provide support in executing product launches and events working with a cross-functional team.
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
Take ownership of each product monitoring the growth of each product portfolio and implementing ideas to grow each portfolio.
Perform product demos to customers as needed.

Content Development

Assist with creating compelling visual and video content and other forms of content for a variety of channels
Take ownership of the weekly email channels; create and roll out engaging weekly newsletters
Create engaging copies and content for all digital and traditional channels newspaper, outdoor, social media & digital marketing, website, and others as well as all marketing campaigns ensuring that copies interest and aid target audience towards our lead generation goals.
Develop content for corporate profiles, policy documents, magazine, and other corporate collaterals.
Provide support in copy editing.

Channel Management & SEO

Work on engaging campaigns to drive traffic to our digital channels consistently.
Upload SEO-friendly content to the digital channels and blog weekly. Consistently maintain page 1 ranking on search engines.
Support web and mobile development teams with content for periodic website updates and management

Reports & Insight

Develop post-campaign report consisting of in-depth analysis of marketing campaigns to track campaign performance and proffer recommendations.
Develop and present quarterly reports consisting of in-depth product performance research, target audience profiling, product uptake and customer behaviour
Create mechanisms to receive feedback on company products and services, and act on the feedback for product improvement.

Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):

A Bachelors’ degree from a in Marketing, Business, Digital, or in any relevant discipline.
1 – 3 years cognate experience.
