Candidates should also possess a minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience at the university level, and be recognized as a scholar of high standing with significant publications in respected, peer-reviewed journals and demonstrated ability to provide leadership.
Proof of registration with relevant professional organizations is necessary.
Compensation and Terms of Employment

The appointment will be governed by the University Statutes and Ordinances and the Regulations Governing the Conditions of Service of Employees established by the University Governing Council from time to time.
The salary and benefits will be in accordance with those applicable to the position of University Librarian in Nigerian Universities and as may be approved by the University Governing Council periodically.
