Position Overview:
As the Program Manager for Nutrition, you will oversee and coordinate the foundation\'s nutrition-related initiatives, ensuring they are effectively implemented and aligned with our mission. This volunteer position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in nutrition and program management. You will work closely with our team of volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders to design, execute, and evaluate programs aimed at improving nutritional health in the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Management:
Design, implement, and manage nutrition programs that address community needs.

Develop program goals, objectives, and strategies in alignment with the foundation's mission.
Oversee program activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Community Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organizations, and stakeholders.
Conduct outreach and educational activities to raise awareness about nutrition and promote program participation.
Gather and incorporate community feedback to improve program offerings.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess program effectiveness and impact.
Analyze data and prepare reports on program performance, successes, and areas for improvement.
Use evaluation findings to make data-driven recommendations for program enhancement.

Resource Management:

Oversee the allocation of resources, including budget management, supplies, and materials.
Identify and pursue funding opportunities and partnerships to support program sustainability.

Advocacy and Awareness:

Advocate for nutrition-related issues and represent the foundation at community events and meetings.
Create and disseminate educational materials and resources to promote nutritional health.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in program management, preferably in a non-profit or community-focused setting.
Strong understanding of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and public health strategies.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse group of stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data management tools.
