Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The QA/Software Tester will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project/product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify and document defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in the selection and implementation of appropriate testing tools.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient development and release process.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall software development and testing processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA/Software Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
