Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify any discrepancies.
Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
Participate in internal audits to assess compliance with company quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
Liaise with production and other departments to ensure adherence to quality standards and address any quality concerns.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements for food safety and quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality assurance role within the food production industry (or a relevant field)
Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., SPC, GMP)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in using inspection equipment and tools
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with HACCP principles
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
